Natalie’s take on BoardBooster…
We pin for many of our clients, many times a week. The problem we were running into is that we would pin lots of pins all at once, peppering the Pinterest home page with amazing pins (well why would we pin them if they weren’t amazing?) and then we’d disappear. We were pinning consistently, but not getting many repins, likes, or new followers because we weren’t being seen on a regular basis.
And then we discovered BoardBooster. BoardBooster uses Secret Boards to queue pins. We add pins to the secret boards, and BoardBooster publishes them to the right board throughout the day. The best part is that you manage all your pins through Pinterest; the only difference is that instead of pinning to your regular boards, you pin to the Secret Boards.
We also like that BoardBooster sends us Weekly Stats showing us the number of followers, pins, and repins that we received throughout the week.
The only issue that we have is that you can only have one Pinterest account per email address. Why? Because BoardBooster is really geared towards bloggers. In order for us to pin via BoardBooster for a number of clients, we figured out a work around. We needed to set up each client account under a separate email. Not a big deal, but kind of a pain.
BoardBooster is super easy to setup and use, and you can try it out for free. It’s also easy to make changes to pinning frequency, times, etc., as well as to add new Secret Boards.
Conclusion: We are big fans of BoardBooster. It’s worth checking out.
