We strive for consistency in visual branding.
When we’re producing hundreds of photos and images for a brand, keeping the look and tone of each photograph consistent takes manpower and time. Assuming that you’re already working with beautiful photographs to start, there are two apps that help users edit photos in a pinch.
Both apps provide users with basic photo editing needs, such as crop and preset filters. But, dig a little deeper, and you’ll find that VSCO and Camera+ each have their strengths.
VSCO is our go-to app. You can rotate photos, skew the photo’s perspective, sharpen an image, and even adjust skin tone. It also has 10 filters for a quick touch-up. Every modification is built on a 12-point scale.
Camera+ gives users more control. Unlike VSCO, you can move the dial of each adjustment as you wish. Camera+ also has close to 50 filters that can be layered on top of each other, as well as a tab called Scenes that specifically edits the lighting of your photograph.
You may only use one, but sometimes these two apps work great in tandem.
